Fabulosas Desordens surgiu da reflexão sobre a institucionalização do grafite-arte como linguagem visual contemporânea e suas relações com a cidade, os meios de comunicação e principalmente com a produção de arte atual, aproximação que vem se dando no meio cultural desde os anos 1980.

A mostra contou com 20 artistas nacionais e estrangeiros, entre coletivos e indivíduos, que começaram suas práticas no exercício anônimo do grafite, alguns deles ainda nos anos 80, como é o caso dos pioneiros Binho e Vitché, de São Paulo, do alemão Loomit, responsável pela criação do chamado estilo 3-d e de DAZE, representante da old school de Nova York. A exposição conta também com nomes importantes dos anos 1990, como a dupla francesa Scien & Klor, um dos primeiros a inserir a estética grafiteira em peças de design gráfico. Além destes nomes já consagrados, representantes de peso da geração que começou a trabalhar na rua, na virada do século XXI estão presentes, mostrando o talento que os leva hoje a atuar em campos diversos como a publicidade, televisão, cinema, moda, artes plásticas, ilustração e projetos educacionais.

De 13 a 17 de março, Fabulosas Desordens oferece ao público uma semana de mesas de debates com convidados de distintas áreas, conversas com os artistas, workshop sobre a história do grafite e pintura, e painéis coletivos pelas ruas.

Fabulous Disorders arose from the reflection on the institutionalization of graffiti art as a contemporary visual language and its relations with the city, the communication channels and, especially, with current art production, a relationship that has becoming closer in the cultural milieu since the 1980’s.

The exhibition invites 18 Brazilian and foreign artists, among individuals and collectives, who started their practices in the anonymous exercise of graffiti, some of them still in the 1980’s, as is the case of the pioneers Binho and Vitché, from São Paulo, of the German Loomit, responsible for the creation of the so-called international style, in which the technique of perspective is applied to the graffited writing, and of DAZE, a representative of New York’s old school. The exhibition counts as well with important names of the 1990’s, like the French pair Scien & Klor, one of the first to insert graffiti aesthetics in graphic design pieces. Besides these consecrated names, some outstanding representatives of the generation that started working on the streets in the beginning of the 21^st Century are present, displaying the talent that today brings them to work in diversified fields such as publicity, TV, cinema, fashion, visual arts, illustration and educational projects.

From March 13^th to 17^th 2007, Fabulous Disorders offers to the public a week of debates with invitees from different areas, meetings with the international artists, a workshop about graffiti history and panting and, lest but not last, the creation of an open air collective panel. All activities are free of charge.
